About This:
"Autumn Suite" is the third release by piano soloist and composer, Cody Michaels. On it, Michaels continues his exploration of unique musical terrain that reveals influences ranging from classical to contemporary, jazz, popular, and more.

"Autumn Suite" features seven original pieces for solo piano celebrating the many moods of fall, including "After The Leaves Have Gone" (at just under 23 minutes, Michaels' most extensive composition to date).

All Songs Copright/Phonoright 2007 Cody Michaels BMI

As with Michaels' earlier CD's, "A Creation Prayer" and "Primum Non Nocere", "Autumn Suite" is another 'must have' for those who love passionate, contemplative instrumental music.

Reviews/Quotes
"The changing seasons have intrigued composers for centuries... Cody Michaels' Autumn Suite paints yet another canvas to savor. There will be no doubt be comparisons between this album and George Winston's Autumn. Winston made a huge splash with his work and filled concert halls. Michaels seems no less talented. He shows a fine touch and a lyrical, melodic sense as well as harmonic sophistication... and if anything this music sounds more like Keith Jarrett"
(Art Edelstein, The Times-Argus; Barre/Montpelier, Vermont)

"On Autumn Suite, Michaels continues his solo piano journey, this time out extending his usual impressionistic palette with a subtle tinge of chromatically
lush romanticism. Most of all, it's Michaels' elegant touch and deep commitment
to melodic communication that hold the listener rapt."
(Kevin McNeil Brown, Buch Spieler Music; Montpelier, Vermont)

"Cody, your performance of Autumn Suite was a true blessing...
I am pleased that our music director found you."
(Rev. Joe Agne, Memorial United Methodist Church; White Plains, NY)
