About This:
Yen Harley is an alternative rock band from Utrecht, The Netherlands, fronted by singer/guitarist Lukas Batteau. What once started as a singer-songwriter project in 2008, has grown, together with drummer Berry Vink, guitarist Rolf Perdok and bass player Josine van der Splinter (Rock Nation), into powerful rock with a touch of the '90s grunge. In 2009 the band – under the name Lukas Batteau - played in venues like Paradiso, Melkweg, Doornroosje, Ekko, Tivoli, Paard van Troje, P60, Kenny’s Castaway’s (NYC), Steinbruch (DE) and the Lviningroom (NYC). The band has played with acts like Tracy Bonham, Alaska in Winter, Wouter Hamel, Go Back To The Zoo, Paulusma and Gomez. The band is selected for the popronde festival, which goes through 23 cities throughout The Netherlands. At the same time the band is working hard on releasing its debut album 'The substance of things'.
