About This:
ME & MY CAT AT THE MAYFLOWER HOTEL (1991) These are songs I wrote in 1991, while I was living at The Mayflower Hotel in New York, finishing work on my second record "Road To Freedom". My cat Pubo, who lived to be 24 years old, was with me, and the maids got to know him well. The personnel on these songs is the same as on the record: Me - lead & background vocals, Hammond B3, piano, clavinet; Jeff Golub - guitars & dobro; Larry Aberman - drums; Al Berry - bass (Bernard Edwards - bass on "Goodbye Train"); Tawatha Agee, Robin Clark, Fonzi Thornton - background vocals; Lenny Pickett & The Memphis Horns - horn section. "Say Those Words Again" was recorded my me, doing all the tracks.
