| First and foremost I thank God for surrounding me with wonderful inspiring people. This project began in late 2005 when my pastor was preaching a sermon series on The book of Job. At about the same time a close friend lost his father very suddenly and I was going through some rough times with my brothers. In prayer the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and I wrote "Dear Jesus". I went to the music worship director and she, along with the worship team, played my song at one of our worship services. I think God liked what I wrote because so many things have happened to further my goal of reaching out to touch peoples hearts. I have so many people to thank for helping me. I met R.E. McDonald years ago but had no idea that God would have us meet again at just the right time and the right place. R.E. listened to my song and really liked the simplicity, yet power of the words I had written. He has helped me take my songs to a whole different level with his expert production and collaboration. Thank you Ron. I would also like to thank Amy and Shirley, (you have beautiful voices), Howie (the engineer with a great ear), Don, Bob, Dony, Aaron, Shawn, David and Susan (some of the best musicians I have ever heard). And last but not least thank you to my awesome family and wonderful, caring wife Kim. Your love and support means the world to me. |
