Boston area singer-songwriter, Marty Nestor has recently embarked on a solo career. His performance talent (guitar, harmonica, vocals) has been developed through years of being the front man and creative spark for several regional bands that shared billing with many national acts.

His current focus is adding to his body of original material and completing studio work on his upcoming CD release, Crosses and Graveyards. Marty is making occasional appearances to tap the audience energy that carries him through long studio sessions.

As the opening act for Jonatha Brooke at the Rockport (Maine) Opera House this summer, he warmed the house with a solid set of material, mixing folk, blues and country sounds in a style that’s uniquely his own. Nestor’s performance energy is to be seen. He’s a solid storyteller with an ear for melodies that pull the listener along until all is revealed.
