After Mike Livingston's 1998 debut CD “Tales Of Love And Worry” was released, he was signed to the Australian label “Endless Journey Records”. Using some of the advance money, Mike purchased more and better studio gear and immediately started working on demos for his new album. Unfortunately, the company went under (no pun intended), Mike got divorced, and life as he knew it got upended. But all through this, Mike Livingston kept writing and recording. These are SOME of those recordings. Instead of letting them sit on a shelf, Mike decided to put them out there. Almost all of the vocals are first takes. (They were intended as scratch vocals.), and some of the lyrics have since been rewritten. Nevertheless, these recordings will give you a good idea of what Mike Livingston hears in his head when he writes a song. All of the harmonies, the counter melodies, rhythms, EVERYTHING!
