Artist:
Radio Milan was a band from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Popular on the regional new wave scene in the Eighties, the group played an eclectic mix of guitar-driven pop and melodic punk.

In 1986, when the cassette "Musica La Dolce" was released, Radio Milan was Rex Brown, Scott Miller, Eric Kehr and Les Mobley. Through the years the group also featured Tony Dapolito, David Burdick, Barry Mace, Kelly Duncan and Brian Plummer.

The group opened for such notables as Lords of the New Church, The Fleshtones and, their very last gig, opening for Wang Chung at the Riverparks Amphitheater in 1986.

Most of the songwriting was done by Rex Brown and Scott Miller. Beginning in the early Eighties the pair banged out simple three-chord love pleas like "Vampire 4 U." Later songs presented more complex rhythms, and often less than serious lyrics. "In the Confusion" is the tale of a forlorn airline passenger who has their luggage, and a prophetic look at what air travel became. Some of their best material was featured on the cassette, Musica la Dolce, released in 1986. Standouts from this tape include "Fellini Movies" and "God Forbid."
