I'd been musing aloud about the idea of putting together a collection of just the goofy tunes. One night my friend Brad Meyer showed up with his recording rig and called my bluff. The tape sounded pretty good, so I asked him to do more shows. We focused on smaller venues for this project, because the audience interaction is often more spontaneous and spirited. Hearing the results, I think it was a good call.
