Some might call us a band. Some might even still call us kids. We would like to call ourselves friends who found a love that worth singing about, worth shouting aloud, worth giving everything we have to proclaim to anyone who might listen. For us, music is a vehicle unto encounter. All of our music is written out of encounter with our King Jesus. When we find ourselves in His perfect presence, often times our only response is adoration. That where our music comes from: simply singing from the overflow of our hearts, whether is joyful praise or broken tears. Our prayer is that these songs of adoration and worship will awaken a generation to the love of the Father, and in turn would arise and shine with the Glory of the Lord...
What makes United Pursuit Band hard to categorize is that its more than a band. You might say its a fluid group of friends who all have the same DNA. There's no one set band. Often times people come and go as God leads. Our music style will ebb and flow as people come and go, but our DNA will stay the same. We all desire to be friends of God, and from the place of intimacy, we will open our mouths and sing of His greatness and glory! |
