Winston Gay
Guitarist/ Singer/ Songwriter Winston Gay is truly in a class all by himself. When he performs, audiences from as far as Australia to Canada stop, listen and applaud.
Not only is his voice as smooth as satin, but he is the only contemporary performer of his kind, who has graced stages across the globe as support musician and vocalist for many Philadelphia International Records artists. The list includes: “The Stylistics, Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes, Dexter Wansel, Jean Carn, Mc Fadden and Whitehead, The Jones Girls and countless others. He has also played behind Maceo Parker (The James Brown Show), The Orlons, Bobby and Tommy De Barge, The Soul Train Dancers and The Tymes.
A native of Philadelphia, Pa, Winston also spent 10 years in Los Angeles, Ca. where he assisted many recording artists as Musical Director, Advisor, or TV Pilot Composer. Some of his Los Angeles recording dates include Kenny Rogers’ Lionshare Studios Motown’s Hitwest, and Marvin Gaye’s Recording Studio.
Today, he has evolved into a “One Man Band” by the use of his amazing guitar-synthesizer system, and “chameleon like” vocals. He is currently releasing his first CD entitled “My God Loves You” on his own label. His first book entitled “The Monster Musicians Manual” has been released early in 2007, receiving great reviews from many music professionals.
