Formed more than 35 years ago, the ever-dynamic Fat City Band performs a unique blend of Blues, R&B, Rock'n Roll, and some New Orleans stylings with a side dish of swing. With their distinctive sound, the always entertaining Fat City Band keeps the dance floor hopping throughout each performance. And fronted by the very animated Paul Redmond, this band is as much fun to watch as they are to dance to!

The Fat City Band performs an exciting mix of high-energy originals and popular cover tunes, accompanied by some hard rockin' guitar and steamy sax. The band entertains regularly at clubs, private parties, major corporate events, festivals and more. They have also answered their country’s call to entertain at the Statue of Liberty rededication, performed at a Super Bowl party, and appeared on the nationally televised show “Nightlife” with David Brenner. The Fat City Band has also shared the stage with such national treasures as Ray Charles, B.B. King, Clarence Clemens, and James Brown. In the studio, they’ve recorded in New Orleans with Allen Toussaint, and in New York with guitarist Elliot Randall from Steely Dan.
