Sha-Shaty electrifies his audience and delivers a genre blending musical experience with his soaring melodies and eclectic influences.
His pop-jazz sound was inspired by sharing the stage with Grammy winning guitar virtuoso Carlos Santana, pop-country music sensation The Mavericks, and contemporary jazz greats Kirk Whalum and Dave Koz. With his 5 piece band Sha-Shaty spanned the genre spectrum by opening for The Bee Gee’s, Peter Cetera (Chicago), Gloria Estefan and jazz virtuoso George Benson to name a few.
His touring schedule has included performances for audiences of over 30,000 in the Peoples Republic of China, New York, Florida, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, Philadelphia, a solo performance of the National Anthem for the World Series in Miami to intimate performances in his hometown of Los Angeles.
Sha-Shaty’s media successes include; a PBS special with Jazz legend and Multi Grammy winner Al Jarreau, a starring role in a national TV commercial for Disney, a European T.V. commercial for Apollinaris mineral water and national radio play for his self-titled debut CD.
Critical acclaim came when Absolute Vodka chose Sha-Shaty as the “face” of their Absolute Currant Vodka and The Miami Herald featured him on the entertainment cover with pop sensations Celine Dion and Ricky Martin.
